How to Book Crawl
Hop from local bookstore to local bookstore, stamping your complimentary passport as you drop your new books into your
Cozy Book Crawl tote.
Make sure you visit at least 50% of the stores (10 stores).
Afterwards, meet at Fountain City Winery for a silent reading party, using your passport as entry.

Here's how to crawl digitally.
- Download this passport.
- Visit a bookstore.
- Take a selfie with the store's sign.
(Bonus points for posting and tagging the store, @kansascitybooksellers, and using the hashtag #KCBookCrawl) - Show at least 10 selfies at the door of Fountain City Winery to get entry into the book crawl.

What time does Book Crawl start?
The crawl is happening all day Sat., Dec. 14. Stores are keeping their regular hours.
Where do I get my passport?
Passports can be picked up at each of the participating stores.
What if I didn't reserve a passport?
You can still pick one up at participating bookstores. Reservations just help us know how many to have.
What time is the Silent Reading Party?
The Silent Reading Party will take place at Fountain City Winery from 7-9 p.m. Show your passport, confirming you visited at least 50% of the bookstores to get in.

Why didn't you ship passports?
We wanted to protect the competition aspect of the crawl and make sure no one got a head start.
